Bureaucrats Gone Wild

The Secretary of the Navy, Ray Mabus, more than six months ago floated the brilliant idea of naming a ship after César Chávez.

According to PBS, starting in 1946 César Chávez served in the Navy for two years, which he described as “the worst two years of my life.”

Now, the idea is back in the news.

Perhaps Secretary Mabus should first consider some more deserving candidates, to wit:

Oops, strike the last one; it’s already been done.

About Professor Mockumental

I enjoy almost all forms of parody, buffoonery, and general high-jinks. Satire has shown itself to be an essential societal need; I therefore humbly offer my services in such a manner. I enjoy mocking the usual suspects at the New York Times (Charles Blows, Moron Dowd, and the earth is flat guy) and Washington Post (Dana Milkbag, E.D. Dijon, and David Ignoramus). There are many others as well, but sadly, there are always too many targets and too little time.
