Obama’s 2012 Campaign Theme

The attempt to add a theme and coherency to President Obama’s 2012 campaign, as described in New York Magazine:

… the theme is “We Can’t Wait.” Charlie Savage reports that Obama actually came up with the slogan himself in a staff meeting.

We Can’t Wait, is a variation on effort by the Obama 2012 effort to run away from his record.

We Can’t Wait, after almost four years of What Has Obama Wrought?, probably won’t generate much interest from the public beyond the President’s traditional constituents.

I would have preferred 80’s super hit I Can’t Wait.

I can’t wait for November 6th

About Professor Mockumental

I enjoy almost all forms of parody, buffoonery, and general high-jinks. Satire has shown itself to be an essential societal need; I therefore humbly offer my services in such a manner. I enjoy mocking the usual suspects at the New York Times (Charles Blows, Moron Dowd, and the earth is flat guy) and Washington Post (Dana Milkbag, E.D. Dijon, and David Ignoramus). There are many others as well, but sadly, there are always too many targets and too little time.
