The Fast and Furious ‘Executive Privilege’ Decision Decoded

The President needs his self-described non-cover-up associated with the whole Fast and Furious thing to take as long as possible to play out. If things work out well for him, the President will be re-elected with no real political price to pay and if they work out poorly, he can still write his own pardon (as well as another for Eric “My Eye” Holder who will also negotiate any and all fees).

It’s all a part of the Clinton playbook: deny, delay, deceive. Then, if need be and when thoroughly out of options, offer to negotiate. Iran uses the same strategy for their nuclear weapons program.

Every second a voter is dazed and confused about the Fast and Furious issue is a second they won’t be pondering the non-success of Obamanomics.

And if this were a Republican administration, it’d be bigger than Watergate.

A caring tribute to AG Eric “My Eye” Holder.

About Professor Mockumental

I enjoy almost all forms of parody, buffoonery, and general high-jinks. Satire has shown itself to be an essential societal need; I therefore humbly offer my services in such a manner. I enjoy mocking the usual suspects at the New York Times (Charles Blows, Moron Dowd, and the earth is flat guy) and Washington Post (Dana Milkbag, E.D. Dijon, and David Ignoramus). There are many others as well, but sadly, there are always too many targets and too little time.
