Gallup’s new baseline: nothing to see here

Many think the media is totally untrustworthy and pollsters like Gallup seem to be inching in that direction (or maybe they’ve been there, who knows).

Mr. Obama’s Gallup approval rating goes up, not (it would appear) as a result of the existent polling population changing their opinions on his performance, but rather (it would appear) as a result of Democrat pressure to change their baseline sampling, that is, by finding and sampling more people who’ll favor Obama, regardless.

I’m shocked, shocked! (And I was going to say something about the memory hole, but the web page I was looking for seems to have been taken down…)

About Professor Mockumental

I enjoy almost all forms of parody, buffoonery, and general high-jinks. Satire has shown itself to be an essential societal need; I therefore humbly offer my services in such a manner. I enjoy mocking the usual suspects at the New York Times (Charles Blows, Moron Dowd, and the earth is flat guy) and Washington Post (Dana Milkbag, E.D. Dijon, and David Ignoramus). There are many others as well, but sadly, there are always too many targets and too little time.
