Mr. Claire McCaskill gets busted in Senate dining room?

Regarding Mr. Claire McCaskill, AKA Joseph Shepard, from The Daily Caller:

Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill’s husband [Joseph Shepard] used the U.S. Senate Dining Room to cut business deals selling tax credits tied to stimulus money, a whistle-blowing executive inside his company alleged on an audio recording exclusively obtained by The Daily Caller.

So is selling tax credits illegal ? Unseemly? Illegal and unseemly?

And what’s the McCaskill response? Attack! (It’s all so predictably Clintonian.)

“Craig Woods [the whistle-blower] is a twice-convicted felon and a disgruntled former employee who lied repeatedly to Claire’s husband about his criminal past of fraud and embezzlement,” McCaskill spokeswoman Caitlin Legacki said in an email to TheDC in response to the allegations. “There is absolutely no merit to these claims. It is shocking that Todd Akin would pin the hopes of his campaign on a twice-convicted felon and a proven liar, but I guess Todd Akin is incredibly desperate at this point. This is a despicable new low, especially for Todd Akin, and he should be ashamed of himself.”

That’s the type of stuff Hillary Clinton would roll out, the faux-outrage, even as her husband (now Saint William to the left) was knee-deep in his Monica Lewinsky perjury and obstruction of justice. Recall that while he was under oath, Mr. Clinton denied participating in “a sexual affair”, “sexual relations”, or “a sexual relationship” with Miss Lewinsky.

It’s also the type of faux-outrage Barack Obama dropped on Mitt Romney during the  Benghazigate portion of the last debate.

About Professor Mockumental

I enjoy almost all forms of parody, buffoonery, and general high-jinks. Satire has shown itself to be an essential societal need; I therefore humbly offer my services in such a manner. I enjoy mocking the usual suspects at the New York Times (Charles Blows, Moron Dowd, and the earth is flat guy) and Washington Post (Dana Milkbag, E.D. Dijon, and David Ignoramus). There are many others as well, but sadly, there are always too many targets and too little time.
