Hail to the chief

Is it hail to the chief or bow to the chief? I’m confused.

And apologies in advance to Martin Niemöller.

First Broncobama came after big pharma. Because I was not ill, I didn’t care. Then he came after big oil. Because I was green, I remained silent. Then he came after the guns. Because I’m a good liberal, I said nothing. By the time he came after the first amendment, there was no one left to speak for me.

It seems Broncobama thinks some presidents—well, himself anyway—are more equal than others.

I wonder what our adjunct constitutional professor thinks the real limits of his authority are?

The answer is probably this: whatever he can get away with.

About Professor Mockumental

I enjoy almost all forms of parody, buffoonery, and general high-jinks. Satire has shown itself to be an essential societal need; I therefore humbly offer my services in such a manner. I enjoy mocking the usual suspects at the New York Times (Charles Blows, Moron Dowd, and the earth is flat guy) and Washington Post (Dana Milkbag, E.D. Dijon, and David Ignoramus). There are many others as well, but sadly, there are always too many targets and too little time.
