McPaper and Ray Nagin

McPaper reports the following:

Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin has been indicted on 21 federal corruption charges including wire fraud, bribery and money laundering.

The charges are the outgrowth of a City Hall corruption investigation that already has resulted in guilty pleas by two former city officials and two businessmen.

Besides his indictments and his two failed mayoral terms, Nagin is perhaps best remembered for his Chocolate City speech (which is not to be confused with Chocolate Thunder). There was no mention anywhere in the McPaper article which political party Nagin belongs to.

Weird. I wonder which party it could be?

About Professor Mockumental

I enjoy almost all forms of parody, buffoonery, and general high-jinks. Satire has shown itself to be an essential societal need; I therefore humbly offer my services in such a manner. I enjoy mocking the usual suspects at the New York Times (Charles Blows, Moron Dowd, and the earth is flat guy) and Washington Post (Dana Milkbag, E.D. Dijon, and David Ignoramus). There are many others as well, but sadly, there are always too many targets and too little time.
